Doughbot rotates its flavors according to the seasons: pumpkin pie in fall, Meyer lemon and other citrus in winter, carrot cake in spring, and fresh local berries during the summer. Every donut is made by hand, with flavors inspired by foods the owners grew up with. All their dough is made from scratch daily with real eggs, whole milk, sugar and spices, and unbleached flour. Their glazes and fillings are made with real ingredients and no food coloring or extracts. Ingredients are purchased locally and/or direct from farmers, either through the farmers market or Produce Express. All the used deep fryer oil is turned into biodiesel through a local biodiesel co-op.
