Join us for an evening mixer at Magpie Café with owners and chef Ed Roehr and Janel Inouye on R Street. It’s a Hot August Night with Cool Foods. Cool off with gazpachos and watermelon salads, cold seafoods and raw meat with a taste of local brew. Look for some familiar farmers showcasing fruits and vegetables that have been boarded on the Slow Food Ark of Taste. Learn more about the biodiversity program that distinguishes Slow Food from all other global nonprofits working on good, clean, fair food for all.
