Network with like-minded teachers, parents, garden designers, community leaders, school garden coordinators, and others involved with helping kids make the connection between food, health and the environment. We are so excited to host Mary Ann Bash of Denver Public Schools and National School Garden Director Andrew Nowak who will present curriculum especially designed for English Learner educators, “Each One Teach One: No More Gap.” Slow Food Sacramento board member Chef Brenda Ruiz will present “Developing Taste: English Acquisition Through Food.” These and other exciting workshops, plenaries and hands on projects will prepare you to support your neighborhood school.
