Meet Edie Mukiibi and Help Raise Money for School Gardens
Celebrate Fall While Raising Funds For Youth Gardens Here and Across the Globe!
Join us in welcoming Slow Food International Vice-President Edie Mukiibi from Uganda on the final leg of the Good News From Africa food sovereignty tour across America. Yes, Sacramento is one of six cities in the U.S. on his tour.
Hear inspiring stories of communities solving their own social & food crises by embracing small scale agriculture and youth/school gardens AND mingle with some amazing people who do this work everyday in our own community.
Your ticket purchase and donations will help raise funds for both Grant High School’s GEO Environmental Science & Design Academy and a second Sacramento sister school garden in the 10,000 Gardens in Africa project.
Ticket includes: Seasonal appetizers by Magpie’s Nido Cafe and 1 glass local beer or Ferrari Winery wine.
Please help us spread the word by inviting and sharing with your friends and colleagues!
