Hook & Ladder Manufacturing Co. is named after the volunteer-run Mutual Hook & Ladder Co. formed in 1850 - the first fire company in the state. They embrace local farms, ranches, breweries and wineries in both their kitchen and their bar. The restaurant provides a seasonal menu that is a balance of casual and sophisticated with house made pastas, seasonal vegetables, artisan pizzas, small plates and a variety of attentively created entrees. Executive Chef Brian Mezner oversees the kitchen while Chris Tucker presides over the bar with craft cocktails - some barrel aged and a craft beer list. Outside dining is also available in front on S Street or in their rear patio.
