Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services is a nonprofit organization committed to serving individuals and families in need. With a staff of 73 and a volunteer force of over 6,200, SFBFS provides free emergency goods and services to 150,000 men, women and children each month. They are dedicated to assisting those in need by alleviating their immediate pain and problems and moving them toward self-sufficiency and financial independence. SFBFS has over 210 partner agencies through which it distributes 500,000 pounds of fresh produce per month to 150,000 ethnically diverse, low-income men, women and children living in some of the poorest neighborhoods in Sacramento.
