Set your table for two on September 13 as Slow Food Sacramento partners with the Sacramento Homeless Organizing Commitee, the River City Food Bank, Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services, Sacramento Food Not Bombs, and the Fund for Urban Gardening to host a “Buy One Feed One” event to raise money for homeless and food-scarce services.

Sac Bee’s Debbie Arrington writes about a sit-down dinner, “the first of its kind in California, — affectionately nicknamed “Fork It!” by organizers” that “focuses on solving hunger issues by bringing people from very different backgrounds together for a special meal.”
